This video is part of B/R's series "The Rookies," where we take the helmets off the players and bring you closer to their lives and personalities.

He's relentless, self-motivated to be great. He loves football. The New Orleans Saints' first-round pick, Kenny Vaccaro, played high school football for the Early Longhorns in Early, Texas.

He then starred in college in Austin with the Texas Longhorns.

As the 15th overall player taken in this year's draft, Vaccaro is a great athlete. However, he's been knocked for his lack of interceptions in college (five in career).

So far, the Saints seem very happy with the rookie safety. They're not concerned with his lack of interceptions; they love his work ethic, his aggressiveness and the fact he keeps getting better.

Check out the video above as the 6'0", 214-pound safety describes his tattoos and the meaning behind them. You'll get to know a lot about the relentless safety.

Let us know in the comments below if you think Kenny Vaccaro will help turn the Saints defense around in 2013.
