Matthew Stafford and Detroit Lions Agree to Long-Term Extension

Quarterback Matthew Stafford has two years and a team option left on his current contract, but the Detroit Lions are wasting no time securing him for the long term. The Lions have reached a three-year extension with their quarterback of the future.
