'Jeopardy!' Contestants Struggle in the College Football Category
"I'll take 'Athletes I've Never Heard Of' for $800, Alex."
Jeopardy!'s "College Football Hall of Famers' Schools" category started with some softballs for its contestants, with questions coming quickly for the $200 (George Gipp and Joe Theismann) and $400 (Lynn Swann and Marcus Allen) answers.
But when the degree of difficulty increased a bit, all three contestants couldn't even begin to guess, as the last two answers (Bobby Layne and Earl Campbell, Johnny Rodgers and Grant Wistrom) didn't get a single buzz.
Now, before we start to judge, just remember: Ben, Jonathan and Donna would probably dominate most of us in most of the other categories—but it's still nice to have a leg up in one.
