You're in only the second week of fantasy baseball and half of your players are injured. You aren't the only one. The worst part is that they are the players that made your team win last year.
Don't worry, it's not as bad as it may seem, I hope.
I am in a fantasy baseball league myself, and it has been frustrating. So, I have come up with a list that I will call:
"A List to Think Through Before Freaking Out About Your Fantasy Baseball Team"
1. Look at your opponent's teams and enjoy the fact that your buddy is twice as screwed as you are.
2. Scramble frantically to pick up a good starting pitcher to sub for John Lackey.
3. Completely give up on having relief pitchers because they are all injured or MVPs for the opposing team.
4. Cry yourself to sleep.
Seriously though, it's going to be OK. Most injuries are 15-DL at the most.
I know it can be scary when your pitchers can't stay healthy, but most of them will come back at 100 percent. RIGHT? Like Kerry Wood and Mark Prior right? Who?
Exactly.
Well, I hope you're not completely hopeless by now, because it's really early in the season and most of these injuries truly aren't going to wreck your season, I promise.

Dude! Here are the guys that I drafted and that are now on the DL: Putz, Pedro, Soriano, Harden. I also drafted Granderson but I knew what I was getting there as he was already on the DL. The others, outside of Putz, are all generally "fragile". Anyway, I was hoping for better from these men, especially so given the solid Spring efforts of Pedro and Harden. Keep talking me down from the ledge, Joel, I feel like throwing in the towel.

You guys should check out www.RotoHog.com. The game is set up like the stock market where you get to buy and sell your players daily. Under this format injuries like these do not ruin your season! If you would like a referal, let me know, I can send you an invite.
