Derrick Rose gave us a little bit of a preview for next season as he kicked off his "D-Rose Tour" over the weekend, making a stop in Milan, Italy with great appreciation from some international NBA fans.
With a stop in the Adidas megastore, Rose signed a few autographs and took a few pictures before heading down to a basketball court where a large group of people had gathered for his arrival (h/t to Beyond the Buzzer for gathering up the media from his Italian stop).
Before showing off his skills, Rose addressed the crowd, stuck his hands down into some wet concrete to commemorate his stop, and gave out a few high-fives and autographs along the way.
Most important of all, Rose slammed home a few dunks in order to show us all that his knee is at least strong enough to get him above the rim.
The huge contingent in Italy met Rose in the second stop of the European leg of his tour. It stopped first in Herzo, Germany and will continue into Belgrade and Zagreb, Croatia before moving on to London, Paris and Madrid.
September will commence a tour a bit farther east. He'll stop over in Tokyo, China, Hong Kong and Manila.
Of course, we're all hoping that this international tour ends in Chicago near the end of October with Rose's first game back in a Bulls uniform in over a year.
Until then, there's nothing wrong with showing a bit of love to your fans in other countries.
