Chicago Blackhawks: 'Hawks Re-Sign Handzus and Rozsival but Lose Ray Emery

The first day of NHL free agency was a day of gain and loss for the Chicago Blackhawks.

General manager Stan Bowman re-signed veterans Michal Handzus and Michal Rozsival to one and two year deals respectively, but lost backup goaltender Ray Emery, who signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Handzus was the first move of the day and will be paid $1 million next season, according to a report from NBC Chicago.
