Austin Jackson is going to haunt J.P. Arencibia's dreams tonight after making one of the best catches of the year in the MLB.

Arencibia got full extension on a 1-2 pitch from Max Scherzer in the top of the second inning and drove it back to the wall, but Jackson did his best Air Jordan impression and made a spectacular catch.

Jackson saved what would have been at least a double and preserved the Detroit Tigers' 4-0 lead over the Toronto Blue Jays and Scherzer's shutout.

After recently returning from the DL, Jackson showed that his legs are 100 percent better, making a catch most center fielders could never make.

The Tigers are certainly happy to see their center fielder back and better than ever, as the team attempts to win the AL Central crown, chasing the Cleveland Indians, who are half a game up on the Tigers.

Jackson's glove and bat will be crucial to the team's success, as his speed and contact make him a dangerous batter, and he can wreak havoc on the basepaths.

His catch is surely going to be a staple on Web Gems and SportsCenter's Top 10 plays over the next few days, and Twitter was quick to catch on.

Jackson is going to be making all kinds of highlight reels over the next 72 hours, but the Tigers are just happy to see he's back and making plays.
