PITTSBURGH: Not going to lie, but I missed all of regulation and only saw about five minutes and the game-winning goal in Pittsburgh's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals Wednesday night at Mellon Arena.

It was Kris Letang who netted the game winner 11:23 into the extra period, his first career playoff goal.

Alex Ovechkin scored not even two minutes in and Nicklas Backstrom tied the game at two with his power play goal with 1:50 left in regulation.

Simeon Varlamov had 39 saves, but the Pens had a 42-23 shot advantage over the Capitals.

Washington leads the series 2-1. Game four is set for Friday night in Pittsburgh. The game can be seen on Comcast Sportsnet at 7 p.m. EST.
