The Top 10 Seniors in the 2010 NFL Draft
This is the slideshow for the top ten seniors in next years upcoming 2010 NFL draft. This is a bit early so things can change through the course of the upcoming college football season but as of right now the list is in order. Please comment if you disagree with any of the picks, i mean any one of them or feel free to comment if you feel strongly that i made a right pick.
10. Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB, Texas
Sergio Kindle is the next big thing for any 4-3 defense in search of a pass rusher on the edge. He reminds me of Aaron Maybin in this years NFL draft.
9. Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri
Sean Weatherspoon isn't the biggest linebacker in the country but his 155 total tackles was very impressive. He has excellent timed speed and also great instincts.
8. Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
His strength on the inside is impressive, but it's his quick feet that earn him the elite grade.
7. C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
Should be Clemson's best weapon on offense this season. He has incredible speed and elusiveness. He can also be used returning kicks and punts which make him the number one senior running back.
6. Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma
Russell Okung is an underrated athlete with good size who was a first-team All-Big 12 pick as a junior.
5. Mark Merzlich, LB, Boston College
Mark is tall and strong, and has ability to stuff the run and make plays in coverage. Mark Merzlich is a coach's dream linebacker.
4. Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
He has intelligence, athleticism, and leadership skills for the NFL. If he continues to improve as a passer he can be a first rounder next year.
3. Brandon Spikes, ILB, Florida
His interior run-stuffing presence was a major factor in the national championship for the Florida Gator's defense.
2. Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Gresham returned along with Bradford for another shot at a national title. He will provide a miss-match for teams at any level of play.
1. Taylor Mays, FS, USC
Mays would have been a first rounder this year but elected to stay in college. His combination of size and speed would have made him a top 10 pick this year.
