Calling 'Fact or Fiction' on the Latest Chelsea Transfer Rumours
As the silly season heats up, Chelsea have already made a splash in the transfer market with the signing of forward Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen. But only a fool would believe manager Jose Mourinho and owner Roman Abramovich will stop there.
As usual, the Blues are being linked with several high-profile targets this summer. At the top of the list is Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani. According to the Daily Star, Chelsea have refused to pay more than £40 million for Cavani, but Napoli are reportedly holding out for his full release clause.
Chelsea have also been linked with Brazil midfielder Paulinho, who is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, playmaker Juan Mata has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Will any of these deals happen? In the clip above, B/R world football lead writer Michael Cummings tries to sort fact from fiction in the latest Chelsea transfer rumors. After watching, be sure to add your thoughts in the comments below.
