Will Feuding with the Shield Take the Usos to the Next Level in WWE?
Jimmy and Jey Uso have finally made it!
Well, into tag team title contention that is, as they won a Triple Threat match on Raw this past Monday to become the number one contenders.
Right after that, current champions The Shield arrived on the scene and informed their would-be challengers that they are ready and waiting.
That last scene was played out quite well, actually, with all the adrenaline rising. A prelude to a great feud, perhaps.
Since they arrived in WWE back in 2010, The Usos have been on a roller coaster ride in terms of success.
They did have opportunities at capturing the championship, but just couldn't quite pinch the belts.
Do The Usos have what it takes to take it to The Shield?
Jimmy and Jey come from a long line of champions. They were born and bred in the legendary Anoa'i family.
Out of that clan came Afa and Sika, the Wild Samoans, The Rock and current tag champion himself, Roman Reigns.
It will be interesting to see how that last bit of information plays out in this war. Will these colliding cousins unleash some family drama or will it only be savage fury?
Either way, it seems like a most profitable endeavor.
The Usos are the twin children of "Attitude Era" star Rikishi, who is a former Intercontinental Champion.
This bloodline is filled with potential, as are Jimmy and Jey, provided they are written in properly.
It is all or nothing at this point. They have a golden opportunity to succeed in WWE and they should not blow it.
Putting on fantastic matches with their extremely popular opponents could definitely take them to that next level and show the world that tag team wrestling is far from dead or dying.
Honestly, since the arrival of Team Hell No and The Shield, things have been looking up.
The Usos are high-flyers, daredevils and wild; the sky is the limit...totally!
Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins ask everyone to believe in The Shield every week.
Come hell or high water, they will stop at nothing to enforce that rule. Therefore, the WWE Universe will eventually believe The Shield will make stars out of The Usos.
There is hot energy here. Pure, explosive energy...like a time bomb, waiting to go off.
This forthcoming tag team title feud should be great.
Who knows? It may even exceed everyone's expectations.
All that is required at this point is to believe.
