Hooters has proven for decades that beautiful women, short orange shorts and chicken wings is a winning combination. The restaurant chain has had so much success that its popularity has spawned a swimsuit pageant that further displays the beauty of its most precious employees.
In case this is news to you, you're a little late to the party. Thursday, June 27 marks the 17th annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Are you a long-time fan of the pageant or new to the concept? Either way, here is the information you'll need to take in the eye candy, and some more information about the night's festivities.

The Selection Process
More than 18,000 Hooters Girls were considered before the selection committee chose the cream of the crop. Each had to compete in local contests to earn their spot.
The Best of the Beautiful
The word "international" is not used lightly in the title of the pageant. The top 60 Hooters Girls from around the world will compete for over $150,000 in cash and prizes.
This year, Hooters is introducing a new title to the competition. The Miss Hooters Social title will be given to the contestant who has the most social media activity during the buildup to the pageant.
This lovely young lady will win $2,000 and will receive a spot in the finals with the top 10 winners. As has been the case over the past few years, fans can get involved in the process of selecting the winners. Visiting pageant.hooters.com will provide the options to vote for your favorite contestants.
Though this contest is primarily about beautiful women, Hooters has enlisted the help of UFC heavy hitters Chael Sonnen and Kenny Florian, per Business Wire.
The judges for the contest offer even more star power to the process.
Actress Audrina Patridge, UFC Hall of Famer Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, supermodel Cynthia Bailey, ESPN analyst and former NBA player Jay Williams, co-host of The Daily Buzz Lance Smith, Miss USA 2003 Susie Castillo and (wait for it) free agent NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens make up the panel that will help choose a winner.
Money, Money, Money
First place carries a cash prize of $30,000, feature appearances in Hooters Magazine and Hooters Calendar and commercial and marketing opportunities for the chain. Awards will also be presented for Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic (aren't they all?) and Miss Hooters World.
