St. Francis — Being able to shoot is a necessary skill in pro basketball, it seems obvious enough. And those who can really shoot are valuable commodities. California junior guard Allen Crabbe is counting on that skill to lift him higher in Thursday's National Basketball Association draft. The 6-foot-6 Crabbe had an individual workout Tuesday with the Milwaukee Bucks as he continued to recover from a right foot injury suffered in a workout with the New York Knicks on June 10. "I feel like everybody is blessed with one certain talent they can do really well, and I feel like shooting is my gift," said Crabbe, the Pac-12 player of the year last season. "I really didn't put too much time into it when I was younger. I would go out in the backyard and just shoot, and shots were going in.
