Sheldon Kennedy, believe it or not, considers himself fortunate. Yes, his townhouse in Erlton, in the inner-city area of Calgary, was hammered by the weekend's devastating flood. But he's taking the damage in stride. “Well, we're cleaning out our house and, by the looks of everything, we were surrounded with water here,” Kennedy told Calgary Herald photographer Ted Rhodes on Sunday afternoon. “We thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was. We were lucky. The water came up five feet in our basement. So, all in all, we were pretty lucky.
