Calling 'Fact or Fiction' on the Latest Arsenal Transfer Rumours

The silly season of the summer transfer window rolls on, and every day a number of players are being linked with moves to and from Arsenal. Today, we’re sorting fact from fiction on some of the latest rumours.

Of most interest to most fans is the continuing saga of Gonzalo Higuain’s rumoured transfer to Arsenal. The Guardian reported last week that Higuain and Arsenal had agreed to personal terms, and the Daily Telegraph quoted a price of £22 million for the potential transfer. But what’s next for what would be Arsenal’s record transfer?

Meanwhile, the Gunners are still being linked with a move for Swansea defender Ashley Williams, per the South Wales Evening Post. As for departures, defender Johan Djourou is the subject of interest from two Bundesliga teams, according to The Guardian.
