Ever walk home and find a former athlete shaving his naked body in your tub?

Me neither, but a woman in Albuquerque, N.M. did when she and her family came home and found former Texas Tech running back Ronnie Daniels naked and bathing leisurely in her bathroom. I know, some people have all the luck.

The story was spotted by David Ubben of ESPN, and Alana Grimstad of KOAT Albuquerque gives us the breakdown of the weird scene that unfolded.

The mother and her daughters found Daniels after returning home from church camp. Police said she screamed for him to put his clothes on and get out after finding him naked in the bathroom.

Daniels told police he felt comfortable, as though he belonged...

KOAT’s report says that Daniels told the police he went into the house, went upstairs and started himself a bath. He also put on the radio, dropped his clothes in their hamper and began shaving with their electric razor.

So it was a lot like that scene in Kazaam, but not at all.

The KOAT report also says Daniels tried to convince the woman that he lived in her home and that they had kids and a family together. The woman whose home he had snuck into said she mentioned the police to him, at which point Daniels ran off down the street and was chased by their dog.

As funny as it sounds, it’s a sad story and a cautionary tale for young aspiring athletes.

Daniels was once a shining talent in football. Before being booted from Texas Tech for multiple team infractions, Daniels had rushed his way into New Mexico sports legend, churning up fields for over 7,000 yards and 106 touchdowns during his career at La Cueva High School in Albuquerque.

Police arrested Daniels on the charge of burglary, and it’s yet to be seen if drugs were involved in the bizarre incident.

That being said, it's hard to believe a person would ever walk into a stranger’s home sober and use his or her electric razor. You couldn't even get away with that with your best friend.

Never touch a family's electric razor.
