Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews is no doubt hoping to clinch a Stanley Cup championship Monday night in Boston. Win or lose, he has the support of a beautiful girlfriend in Lindsey Vecchione.

If the rest of the series has been any indication, Game 6 will be a raucous affair. While there is no word on whether Vecchione planned on supporting her beau from the stands, there is a chance the model might steal an ounce of airtime Monday night.

If you are wondering who she is, Joe Student of Busted Coverage recently reported on the relationship heading into the Stanley Cup Final.

The lovely Vecchione is more than just a pretty face. The blond bombshell is also something of an athlete who once played in the hard-hitting Legends Football League, formerly the Lingerie Football League.

Here is a screengrab managed to gather from the 2009 Chicago Bliss roster, giving us some vitals on the 25-year-old who is about to celebrate another birthday.

Whether that party will feature a cameo from the famed Stanley Cup will be answered shortly.

Student also informs us the model who once posed in her bikini for Playboy is now making other people beautiful in her hometown. "Vecchione keeps a much lower profile these days; she was working at an exclusive Chicago salon as of April."

In keeping with that new low profile, a 2011 Busted Coverage report links out to Facebook and Twitter pages that no longer exist.

As for Toews, he seems to be ready and able to give Game 6 a go. Scott Powers of ESPN reports the captain, who suffered an injury in Saturday's Game 5, is doing much better. He even gave Blackhawks fans a reason to feel confident going into the all-important game.

"I guess the way I've felt out there I would say it was the best morning skate I had all series. I felt great. I'm excited. There's no question where I am physically."

Whatever the ailment, Toews will be numb to it if Chicago procures a series clincher Monday night. There isn't an injury that a little celebratory champagne can't cure. If that fails, there is always his wonderful girlfriend to keep him warm.
