The sentiment "Like father, like son" gets pretty entertaining when dad is an NBA superstar.
A tip of the hat to SportsGrid for spotting a mixtape of sorts featuring the next great basketball player on the horizon, Zaire Wade.
As Yahoo! Sports notes, Zaire is widely considered one of the top fifth-graders in the nation. After seeing the short video, we have to agree.
The kid sports great shooting range and has ridiculous crossover dribbles that would break the ankles of some grown men.
It all goes down at the John Lucas Future of the Game camp in Las Vegas, where Zaire drained shots and dished dimes to other basketball prodigies.
The more intriguing part comes with what shoes the young hoops star chose to wear. As Yahoo! Sports reports, Zaire decided to go with some LeBron James-inspired Nikes over his father's Wade sneakers made by Chinese company Li-Ning.
Something tells me Dwyane will be just fine with his son sporting his buddy's shoes, because Zaire was busy boasting talents that may just make basketball a family business.
The kid already has a well-balanced game and looks absolutely thrilled to dish off the rock to teammates if it means points for the team. It's clear he is picking up tips from dad as well as the league's best player in James.
Who knows? Maybe one day this kid will have his very own shoes to lace up before dominating a game of basketball. Considering his genes and solid game, I like his chances.
