I usually get really hyped when a pitcher that has never started before is going to start for the first time.
But I don't know about this 40-year-old rookie starting for the Mets against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday.
This sounds similar to the Braves' story of Kenshi Kawakami, a 33-year old playing in Japan, then getting a start for Atlanta.
Hmm. I guess we'll just have to see how he does.
