In an Exclusive Interview for May's Edition of the City Mag, Elano states how he fooled Scott Carson with a right big bluff.

Had me in stitches.

West Brom's England goalkeeper Scott Carson had a few words with Elano when City were given a crucial penalty with the score tied at 2-2, Elano previously had dispatched five out of five penalties this season.

Elano: "There was a touch of cat and mouse. Carson asked if I was going to put the ball in the same place I had done against Hamburg in the previous match, so I told him, 'yes, I am'.

"He stood close to his left post as I started my run-up, then he moved across to the middle, and I put it in the opposite corner. As I ran past him, I said, 'it was a little bit different from Hamburg, wasn't it?'"
