NEW YORK — Ichiro Suzuki did not hit the ball out of the infield, but he still had a chance to reach base in the fifth inning tonight. His slapper had pushed Rays first baseman James Loney off the bag, and Suzuki was now in a foot race with pitcher Matt Moore.
