The Texas Rangers (40-32) take on the Oakland Athletics (43-31) Thursday afternoon live from Arlington, Texas. The battle for first place in the AL West continues, as the Rangers will look to take the four-game series win, while the Athletics will look to leave town with a split.

Rangers pitcher Justin Grimm improved to 6-5 Wednesday night with the win over Oakland, while Tommy Milone dropped to 6-7 with the 9-4 loss.

Josh Lindblom takes the mound for the Rangers Thursday as he attempts to win his first game of the season. His counterpart, A.J. Griffin, is in search of his first win in four tries dating back to May 25 against the Houston Astros.
