North Carolina junior Tyler Hansbrough is talking about a transfer to another school.

Tyler, the older Hansbrough, is helping his younger brother Ben transfer out of Mississippi State, where he's been a star guard for two years.

The younger Hansbrough played in what now seems to be his last game in a Bulldog uniform in a loss to Memphis in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

There has been no word yet where Hansbrough will eventually end up.

Hansbrough averaged 7.3 points and 23.6 minutes per game during his first season and 10.5 in 33.5 minutes per game during his sophomore season. These are not quite the numbers his older brother puts up, but Ben Hansbrough is certainly becoming a dependable shooter.

The Hansbrough brothers come from an athletic family. Their father was a high jump champion at the University of Missouri in the late '70s, and their uncle is a three-time World Long Drive titlist.

  6. This has to be the most misleading article ever. "North Carolina junior Tyler Hansbrough is talking about a transfer to another school." Him talking to his brother about transferring is not warrant that first sentence. And what is your source in saying that Tyler is helping him. I doubt that Tyler or Ben have said this. I suspect it is simply an assumption which really is not enough for real journalists to cite without saying so.
