2013 NHL Draft: 5 Prospects Philadelphia Flyers Should Avoid in 1st Round

The upcoming 2013 NHL Draft will be crucial for the Philadelphia Flyers. If they can add a vital piece to their roster, it would help a lot of other things fall into place. But for as good of a draft class as this is, there are a few prospects Philadelphia needs to avoid. 

Because just as a good pick could help the team take a major step forward, a bad pick could seriously harm the franchise and its future outlook. They have the 11th pick overall, which means that in this deep class there will be some serious talent around. 

I already compiled some information about the Flyers' top targets, but now it is time to look at players who the Flyers need to stay away from in this draft. 

These are five prospects who are rated highly but would just not be the right fit for the Flyers' first pick in the draft, slated for June 30 at the Prudential Center in Newark.
