Taking into account every transfer in and out of Europe's elite divisions, this week brought us yet another sample of early summer business—and we're not even in July yet.
These rankings aim to determine who's doing the best business not looking at just money spent or amount of players acquired, but the value of each purchase or sale to a respective squad within their own parameters.
As such, just about any team can come out on top of the standings, so long as their conduct is savvier than the rest.
To be specific, only deals with enough evidence to be termed as completed are counted in a club's summer window thus far, although speculation in heavy enough instances is considered.
Players marked with an asterisk(*) will complete the mentioned transfer on July 1, 2013 unless a deal has been struck to conclude said deal sooner.
Note: Details of any Premier League releases can be found in the BBC Sport transfer guide.
