For the second game in a row the Rockies starters shut down the naysayers, those thinking the team has no ace. Chacin made a bid for being the team ace last night with an amazing performance, almost throwing a complete-game shutout. Tonight Jorge De La Rosa answered with his own masterful performance. His first two pitches were perfectly placed at the bottom of the strikezone and both were called balls. Thankfully he wasn't flustered because he went seven innings and only gave up one hit. He struck out four and walked three and left the game after throwing 95 pitches (57 for strikes). He took a no-hit bid into the sixth.
