On June 17, 1994, O.J. Simpson led up to 20 police cars down Interstate 405 in his white Ford Bronco while on the phone with authorities and with a gun pointed at his head.

America was transfixed by the chase, and then later the trial that followed it for the brutal murders of Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.

Most major news outlets interrupted programming to cover the infamous chase, including halting coverage of the 1994 NBA Finals Game 5 between the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets.

Nineteen years later, the chase is just as captivating and chilling as it was then.

Hat tip to ESPN 30 for 30 for the video.
