The Mets need a guy behind Johan and fast. Mike Pelfrey has looked decent in recent starts, Maine has been improving, and Hernandez is hot and cold..

If you are the GM, you have to look down the road and inquire about pitchers that will be available.

Roy Oswalt

Yeah, he is not what he used to be. But maybe the Mets can give up some young talent that Houston does not have..They need to bolster the farm.
