Wow! I can't believe that Manny Pacquaio dropped Hatton in two. I thought Manny would win by a knockout, but in round nine or 10. I thought that Mayweather Sr. would build up his jab, work on his distance, and greatly improve his suspect defense.

Not even close.

Hatton looked like an amateur club fighter. He kept moving forward, and, I can't believe this, his hands were down around his chest when he was getting hit.

You don't let you hands leave your chin when you're in against a fighter the caliber of Manny Pacquaio! You protect yourself at all times.

Was it a case of over-confidence? Did Hatton and Mayweather Sr. underestimate the speed and power of Pacquaio?

Shame on them if they did.

Hatton's career is over. He had his two big paydays and now he can eat all the fish and chips he wants and get fat watching Manchester City. I liked Ricky, but he should step away from the fight game while he can still talk in an audible fashion without drooling all over himself.

Here's the one name that nobody is mentioning: Juan Manuel Marquez.

Yeah, that Marquez that has fought Pacquaio twice (once to a decision).

That Marquez that many people feel beat Pacquaio in their last fight.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is coming out of retirement to fight Marquez in June.

I think Floyd is going to get beat.

Floyd is a great champion, and he's fought some good fighters, but I'm not sure he's fought truly great fighters. His two biggest wins against De La Hoya and Hatton now look very, very suspect after Pacquaio destroyed both of them.

I can't believe Floyd didn't have a tune-up bout or two against some journeymen. He's jumping back into the fire against an absolute warrior.

The way to get to Floyd Jr. is with body shots to slow down his foot speed and hand movement. Marquez fires nuclear bombs at the rib cage. I think Marquez will win a TKO.

So folks, the real fight should come around September when Pacquaio meets Marquez for their fourth bout.

I predict a Marquez win by decision.
