The Cubs will face a depleted Houston infield today. Kaz Matsui is still on the DL, while Lance Berkman and Ty Wigginton will rest after getting hurt yesterday. Wiggington could end up on the DL.

That gives the Astros Darin Erstad, Tomas Perez, and Geoff Blum, plus Miguel Tejada, as starting infielders today. Blum did have a pinch-hit RBI yesterday, and Erstad made at least one nice pick at first. Still, shouldn't be much firepower to deal with today.
