FIU Gets 2014 Postseason Ban

Former Florida International coach Richard Pitino must be glad that he left FIU when he did—the school is ineligible for the 2014 postseason because it failed to meet the NCAA's minimum number in the Academic Progress Rate. FIU was one of six Division I schools to receive the postseason ban. Alabama State, Grambling State, Mississippi Valley State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and New Orleans were the others.
