Juventus are the front-runners in Serie A next season.

Unlike last season however, there's more than one team capable of seriously challenging Juventus for Serie A supremacy. Napoli's ability to repeat as "challenger" will depend on whether Edinson Cavani stays, but regardless of what happens in Naples, AC Milan will be the chief competition for the Bianconeri next season.

The reason being the lethal pairing of Stephan El Shaarawy and Mario Balotelli. Not only are these two paired together for the Azzurri, they now will work together for the Rossoneri.

Last season, Milan finished with the fifth highest goal total in the league, a fact that is likely not surprising to most of you.

This season you can certainly expect them to do even better. El Shaarawy was scoring at an incredible clip in the fall and Balotelli averaged a goal a game when he joined the team in January.

If Milan's talent alone weren't enough, they also have the offensive capabilities of Giampaolo Pazzini, as well as support from Bojan and Kevin-Prince Boateng

This is a well-stocked club. Last summer was marked by uncertainty for Milan, but this summer, anticipation for next season is at an all-time high.

Along with an even better attack after the January window closed, Milan's defense was remarkably effective. They had the third fewest goals allowed last season.

With their attack completely secured, Milan can focus on depth moves for their club. The truth is, the depth is already there. M'Baye Niang is 18, Mattia De Sciglio is 20, and Bojan is 22.

Are you getting the picture?

Sure, Juventus are champions for now, but as long as Milan remain smart with their money and continue to develop their youth squad, they are the future.

That was solidified when Milan took a risk and signed Balotelli. The attack force they have is easily the best in Italy and arguably one of the best in the world.

With a couple more smart moves, Milan can be much more than Scudetto winners; they can be a force across Europe.
