WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (36-2-1, 25 KOs) retained his title with a twelve round majority decision over interim titleholder Ola Afolabi (19-3-4, 9 KOs) on Saturday night at Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin, Germany. Huck was sharp and aggressive from the start landing clean shots and outworking Afolabi, who never got untracked until late. The challenger came on in the closing rounds, but was rattled by a big Huck right hand in the final round. Scores were 114-114, 115-113, 117-111. Huck is now 2-0-1 against Afolabi in their trilogy.
