After a long layoff between series, the San Antonio Spurs went into South Beach and carried their great play to the 2013 NBA Finals against the Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat.

Despite being behind for the majority of Game 1, the Spurs were able to squeeze out a win behind a heroic performance by Tony Parker.

The Heat's five turnovers in the fourth quarter were deadly for the defending champions, proving that ball control is an obvious area in need of improvement as they proceed in these Finals.
