Rutgers Junior WR Brandon Coleman Named Preseason All-American

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (June 6, 2013) – Rutgers junior wider eceiver Brandon Coleman (Accokeek, Md.) was named a Preseason All-American (Third Team) in the annual Sporting News college football preview magazine. Coleman, a 2012 All-BIG EAST First Team selection, enters his junior season with 16 career touchdown receptions in just 26 games played. Coleman's 16 touchdown receptions already place him in a tie for fifth place in Rutgers' career history. In 2012, Coleman led RU with 718 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. His 43 receptions ranked second on the squad. In his career, Coleman has averaged 21.2 yards per reception.
