The wily oddsmakers in Las Vegas will take bets on just about anything. A coin flip. A national anthem. So why not make some money on the Stanley Cup playoffs by handicapping which players are most likely to win the Conn Smythe Trophy for postseason MVP?

Some of the favorites, the names you might consider at first thought, are long shots at this point. Guys like Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane haven't put forth MVP efforts in the playoffs, making way for the likes of Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp.

Of course, things can change, and a string of clutch performances or rising to the occasion in a major spot could change the race for the Conn Smythe Trophy in an instant.

Here are the updated odds for the NHL's playoff MVP, and make sure to leave a comment below with your take on the odds and your favorite for the Conn Smythe.
