Erik Spoelstra will lead his Miami Heat team to the finals once again but will do so with some strong support from his wonderful girlfriend, Nikki Sapp.
Cameras may just catch a glimpse of Coach Spo's biggest fan who you might be unfamiliar with, and that's understandable.
Back in March, Spoelstra introduced the world to his beautiful girlfriend whom he squired to the annual fundraiser thrown by Heat broadcasters Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino.
Jose Lambiet of The Miami Herald reported more back in March:
The lady’s name is Nikki Sapp, and she started dancing at Heat games in 2006 — just after turning 18.
The now 24-year-old Miami native shares time between Los Angeles and Miami because she’s a director at the famous Guy Hepner art gallery in West Hollywood, Calif., according to her website.
Sapp's web site has far more information on the young woman, who attended Florida International University and "graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BA in Art History."
It seems Sapp has changed locales in the last couple of months because her bio also claims that she is now living in the Miami area and opened a gallery in Bal Harbour.
If being a former Miami Heat dancer and someone who manages galleries wasn't enough, she also writes for American Contemporary Art Magazine.
Through it all, she manages to find time to root for her favorite team, as you can see by her numerous posts on the Heat on her Twitter feed.
Behind every great man is indeed a wonderful and vibrant woman.
