The Dodgers aren't planning for Josh Beckett to undergo surgery -- at least not yet. “It doesn't sound like it, no,” Manager Don Mattingly said. “More rehab.” In Dallas on Monday, Beckett visited a nerve specialist who examined the source of the numbness in his pitching hand. Mattingly referred to the diagnosis as “some kind of nerve thing” and said the team's medical department would release more information on Beckett's condition.
