Abily's first big break at the sernior club level came when she signed with Montpellier-Herault Sport Club in 2003.

Montpellier finished at the top of the table in 2004 and 2005, and also reached the semifinals of the UEFA Women's Cup in 2006.

It was at that time that Abily signed with Olympique Lyonnais. Abily's three seasons with Les Gones, as they are called, culminated in Lyon finishing at the top of the table in 2007, as well as the domestic double of winning the league and the Challenge de France, or French Cup, in 2008.

During the 2007-08 season, Olympique Lyonnais reached the semifinals of the UEFA Women's Cup, only to be eliminated by Umeå IK, led by Marta.

Individually, Abily would earn league Player of the Year honors is 2006 and 2007.

Abily would be reunited with her Brazilian rival when she signed with the Los Angeles Sol in 2009.

The No. 20 for LA has made a significant splash from the get-go, scoring her first goal with her new team against fellow national team member Sonia Bompastor and the Washington Freedom in a 2-0 victory.

Known for her skillful control (as seen in the Inaugural Game) and fluid ball movement, those who head down to the HDC on Victoria Street will be assured that there will be more great playmaking from Camille Abily. She is a proven footballer with a great personality who has been there and won that, in France.

And you can be sure that she is intent on doing the same for the Sol.
