The University of Memphis has added Missouri transfer guard Michael Dixon Jr., according to multiple sources. Dixon, a 6'2″ combo-guard will seek a hardship waiver, allowing him to play for the 2013-2014 season after being dismissed from Missouri last fall. Choosing Memphis over East Carolina and Baylor, Dixon joins an experienced and talented backcourt with senior guards Joe Jackson, Geron Johnson and Chris Crawford. Memphis also has wing Damien Wilson returning for his sophomore year. Joining the veteran group of Memphis guards will be Pookie Powell and Memphis native Markel Crawford.
