The 2013 NBA Finals have been set, as the Miami Heat played the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference Finals clash. With a chance at immortality on the horizon, the tensions were high and the anxiety undeniable.
So who emerged victorious when it mattered most?
Dwyane Wade broke out of his recent funk with 21 points and nine rebounds, while LeBron James tallied 32 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Ray Allen scored 10 points with three three-pointers, while Chris Bosh finished with nine points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals.
Norris Cole finished with eight points and four assists in 19 minutes.
Roy Hibbert continued his dominance, finishing with 18 points and eight rebounds on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor. David West added 14 points, while Lance Stephenson dropped 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Paul George went for seven points, seven rebounds and four assists, while George Hill scored 13 points.
The question is, were the Pacers able to defy the odds and reach the 2013 NBA Finals? Or were the Heat able to head to their third consecutive NBA Finals appearance?
