USC Football: Trojans' Future Long Snapper Star of Awesome Trick Shot Video
Every offseason, we witness college football players putting together trick videos to showcase their skills. Usually, it is a quarterback throwing the ball off a rooftop or knocking over a Pepsi can that is about 50 yards away.
Johnny Manziel put together one of the most popular trick shot videos in recent memory.
You are now safe to erase all of them from your memory.
They all have been topped by a long snapper who goes by the name of Zach Smith. Yes, a position that nobody mentions will become relevant once you see what he is capable of doing, via Yahoo! Sports.
Throwing a ball into a trash can doesn't seem that difficult anymore. How about snapping a ball up and over a brick wall that is blocking your vision? Others have shown incredible accuracy in previous trick shot videos, but snapping a ball perfectly between two car windows and knocking over your buddy takes the cake.
LeBron James once threw a football through a basketball hoop, which was pretty impressive. Well, Smith snaps the ball the length of the court for a perfect swish.
Take that King James.
Smith has now become the most popular long snapper in college football. Actually, he is probably the only long snapper you have ever heard of, besides the one that snapped the ball over the punter's head and cost your favorite team the game.
Smith is a member of the 2013 recruiting class at USC and committed as a walk-on. He was widely considered to be one of the best long snappers in the country and will be a valuable piece for the Trojans.
Judging by his incredible accuracy, USC won't have many issues on special teams for the next few seasons.
