Even though I have a list of some all time favorites, there are still some guys out today that I have gotten into this last year.
Drum roll please...
Oh BTW, there are no honorable mentions.
10. Christian
Captain Charisma. I think when I first began to actually not hate Christian was his feud against The Rock. They had some good promos, and they were entertaining.
Then I noticed he went to TNA, so I really just forgot about him. I mean what are the odds of going to TNA and then coming back to WWE, right?
Well Christian came back, and I must say, I did think that he was behind all the Jeff Hardy attacks, and he probably was.
But he came back a good guy and I expected for the WWE to use Christian right. It makes no sense to me that if Edge got his push why can't Christian. Jeff got his and Matt is getting it now.
Then he won the ECW title and I was relieved. It may sound like I jumped on the bandwagon, but really I know Christian has talent, and he should be rewarded by that.
The man has mic skills, no question, and he has been around for so long, that he has gotten better in singles competition. And those are the reasons why Christian made my list.
9. Evan Bourne
"Air" Bourne is the perfect nickname for this kid. It is almost impossible to think that he wont have a bright future in the WWE.
The jaw-dropping, high risk moves that he pulls off lets the world know that cruiserweight action will never die.
I like Evan Bourne because he can do so much in the ring, and he has great ability. His potential can take him anywhere in the WWE.
I hope they utilize this glorious talent soon. Maybe give him some feuds, then a title run, he loses one title and contends for the next.
He is a joy to watch, and if they use him right, they will get a huge response from the WWE universe.
8. Kofi Kingston
BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!
Starting out in ECW, Kofi Kingston showed promise. It was not long before he came to RAW and won the Intercontinental championship in 2008.
After he lost the title, he began to team with CM Punk and they eventually beat Miz and Morrison for the World Tag Titles in the same year.
Just like Evan Bourne, I like Kingston's ability in the ring. He can jump so high, move so fast and pull off so many moves that other people can't. He has so much positive energy in the ring and outside the ring.
He is a legit fan favorite but my only problem is that I think he tries to be a hero a little bit too much. But I will not let that effect his spot on my current favorite superstars.
In the long run, if they could get him some mic skills, he could possibly be the World Heavyweight Champion.
7. Jack Swagger
I really dig the "All-American American" Jackson Swagger. This guy is cool. I guess that is why his last name is Swagger.
I don't catch a lot of ECW but the shows I have watched, I checked this kid out and he can perform. He might be a dope on the mic, but just like all young stars, give him time.
I'm kind of disappointed that he lost his belt, but he will get it back. Not saying anything about Christian, I just like Jack Swagger being a champion.
What had me sold on Jack Swagger was his match against John Cena during the draft show. I enjoyed it because I think Swagger can out wrestle Cena.
I guess it is safe to say that if you're a rookie and you can perform on the same level if not better than a guy who has been around for about seven years, you are on your way to big time. Talent like this cannot go over looked.
6. Jeff Hardy
The Extreme Enigma.
I've noticed a lot of comments made on Jeff Hardy. Yeah he's a pothead. A lot of people are. (Not me) So he isn't a technical based wrestler, which probably means he has no skills.
Well in that case, there are a lot of guys in the WWE that can't wrestle. Hell, Cena has a technical base, but he's still garbage.
The difference and similarity between these two...they have heart.
John Cena's heart comes from trying to get all the fans to cheer him. He can put on a good show, but he is a kiss-ass.
Jeff Hardy's heart comes from a more entertainment aspect. You're thinking, god once again this guy does not know what he's talking about. Just hear me out.
Jeff Hardy will probably die one day from doing all the "glorified stunts" he does.
Why does that make him a bad person? He is just trying to give you your money's worth.
So tell me whats better: booing a guy who wants to suck up to you, or watching a guy who wants to be excited?
How many people can kiss your ass in a day compared to how many people can actually amaze you in a day??? Once you have that answer, then you will know why I like Jeff Hardy and why I can't stand John Cena.
5. Priceless
Ok, enough with taking stabs at Cena. Let's get on to an upstart tag team.
I like Priceless. Enough said. No reason, because I have always liked them.
But before Cody Rhodes turned heel, he was beefing with the greatest wrestler today, Randy Orton.
Honestly, in my opinion, Rhodes could keep up with Orton. I do believe he still can. DiBiase probably could too. The WWE just has to give them exposure.
In Evolution, didn't Randy Orton have a feud with all these legends, while Triple H beefed with Goldberg, and Batista was having his issues with the Dudleys and HBK? Ric Flair was just being Naitch....WOOOOOOOO!
I hear it way too much that Randy Orton doesn't need Legacy, but Legacy needs Orton. Why? Ted and Cody can compete in their own storyline. It would be better for both Orton and Priceless. They don't even need to be in an Orton storyline.
If they had their own beef with a tag team, it would establish their characters more and will shut up all the goons that say Randy Orton can't win without Priceless, even though he is the new champ thanks to his foot, not Cody Rhodes, not Ted DiBiase the second.
4. Shawn Michaels
Even though I already made a slide for HBK in my all timers, I will still put him in my currents because he still performs, and he still puts on a great show.
I wish the whole world would have witnessed his match with UT at Mania. It was great.
I do think that this will be Shawn's last year, and I hope his Mania match is with someone good. Maybe a fresh face like Morrison.
Or a long time buddy like Triple H. As much as I don't want to see him go, he will go down in history as one of greatest of all time.
3. Kane
Just like Shawn Michaels, Kane is also an all-timer, so I really don't have much more to say.
I hope they use him better during the year. He's back on Smackdown which to me was kind of a bad move, but I won't complain. All the fans love Kane anyway so they might as well turn him face.
I like his little rivalry going on with I Am a Punk. Hopefully this is just the beginning of good things for the Big Red Machine.
2. Missstttterrrrrrrrrrrr Kennnnnnnnnnedyyyyyy.....
.....KENNNNNEEEDDDDDDYYYYYY.
How can you not think that Kennedy is funny? He is very entertaining. I have not seen him wrestle in a while, so I can't quote his wrestling skills, but he is one of those guys you just hate to love.
His microphone antics are golden, and he has a mean, I don't care attitude. I cannot wait until he comes back, because I would love to see him feud with the Miz.
