Eastern Conference
Boston in six.
Considering how the Hurricanes took out New Jersey in the last 80 seconds of the first round, Boston may have their hands full if they relax too much after an easy first round.
Boston's got the depth to win, but if they don't go hard, they may flounder. Eric Staal is heating up at just the right time.
Washington in seven.
The first, hopefully, of many epic showdowns between Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin. The Capitals are just a team that has been all together all season. With Varlamov in net now, the Capitals are a threat and he will be the key.
Western Conference
Anaheim in seven.
The Wings have such a deep team, but their goaltending is lacking—just the opposite of the Ducks. Jonas Hiller played well and stole a few games from the Sharks.
Vancouver in seven.
Another game seven, you say?
Chicago's offense will test Luongo, but Vancouver's experience and their depths will outdo the young Chicago squad.
