Brandon Belt is still searching for consistency, the kind that has Buster Posey looking up at the scoreboard after 50 games and seeing a .317 average and .939 OPS, the 10th-best mark in the league. "I think I'm getting there," Belt said Sunday afternoon. "I'm hopeful that I'm progressing in that direction and being more consistent." Sunday's 7-3 win over the Colorado Rockies provided the latest signs that Belt is moving forward. Few are in Posey's class, but the Giants will happily take Belt's current approach as the starting staff continues to struggle, putting more pressure on the lineup.
