It doesn't get much bigger than this: the Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium in London.
As the two Bundesliga sides prepare for the most important match in European club football, there are so many fascinating storylines to consider.
This is the first Champions League (or European Cup) final to be played between two German sides.
Dortmund star Mario Gotze, who has shone all season long for Die Schwarzgelben, has agreed on a £31.5 million summer transfer to—you guessed it—Bayern Munich. Intriguingly, Gotze is sitting out Saturday's match with a nagging hamstring injury.
And while there may be no Barcelona, Manchester United or Real Madrid—no Lionel Messi, no Robin van Persie and no Cristiano Ronaldo—you could make a compelling case that Bayern and Dortmund have been the top sides in this Champions League tourney.
So stick with us as we delve into the wonder that is the biggest stage in soccer. It should be a fun day at Wembley.
