Expect to see a lot of Ottawa Senators games, since that was the team to which I had the most exposure.
If you also attended these games, then where do they rank on your list? Feel Free to leave a comment. I am interested to know your opinions.
So, feel free to come with me and experience the best five games that I have ever attended in person.
This was the second playoff game in the history of the Ottawa Senators in 1997. I got the tickets from my Dad, who had won them from a local radio station.
I remember that day at school. I was so hyped up for the game that I got sent to the principals office twice.
The game didn't disappoint, either. I had a blast even though there was only one goal. It was scored by the Ottawa Senators in a 1-0 OT win.
This was the third playoff game that I ever went to. It is memorable because it was the first series victory for the Ottawa Senators.
I just remember screaming my lungs out when we scored the empty net goal with less than a minute to go to seal the victory.
I went down to Buffalo for this game because some buddies got me tickets as a present for my 24th birthday. So, we went down and got one of the best games ever. Nothing will ever beat Emery vs Peters in a fight. Unfortunately, the result wasn't what we wanted, but the fight made up for it. It was also my first game as a visiting spectator.
It was the first Stanley Cup final game in Ottawa in over 80 Years.
It was an amazing night. Yes, we were down 2-0, but we thought that we would come back. This night is the night that I started my hatred for Pronger, when he gave a cheap shot to Dean McAmmond.
Still, it was the game we won. It was my big Stanely Cup experience; hopefully we get back there soon.
This was the best night of my life. I had been waiting for this game for two years. When it finally came, it was like I was a little kid again, except that I was paying $8 a beer. It was more of a blowout than what I expected, which was good, in a way, because we started partying with 10 minutes left. Then, when the final buzzer went off, the fans went nuts. It was the best experience of my life.
