Boston Red Sox: Losing Explanation
Many people are blaming the Japan trip as the reason for the Boston Red Sox losing to Toronto.
If you look at the final three games of Spring Training, you will notice that Japan has nothing to do with the Sox losing. Those three games gave the everyday starters a chance take time off.
Watching the game today against Toronto, I realized that all the Red Sox have to do is get runners on to win games. Solo homers will no longer do it. They also need to continue to be solid on defense like they were in 2007 when they won the World Series. That is the key to winning and getting back on track.
