Why Crabtree Wasn't the Answer for the Oakland Raiders

The Raiders and eight other teams passed up on Michael Crabtree and I think we all know why. The reactions of him and his father say it all. Like father, like son I suppose. That was downright embarrassing for them. That was disrespectful toward us, and we don't need that on this team. Not the team Tom Cable is assembling, and the Raiders knew that. Yes, no 40 time, yes the injury, but character was the reason we didn't choose that clown. I am happy for that, and I am happier we are finally ridding ourselves of castoffs and primadonnas.

We have talented guys. We have hard workers. We have character. They will play for each other. If they all play for Jamarcus, and if Jamarcus takes the next step forward, so will the Raiders into the playoffs guys. We have something to prove this year more than ever, especially after the "F" draft. Especially in this weak AFC West.

I believe we can.

Go Raiders...Go Al.
