Scouting Guide: Podolski's class is proven across the international and club stage, but his debut season with Arsenal never fulfilled its full potential. The German forward has a deadly left foot, an eye for a key pass and terrific ability from set-pieces. Although versatile, Podolski favours playing as a striker and found frustration from being placed onto the wing across his first season in England.

Where Next? Despite playing the last handful of 2012-13 Premier League games in the striker role, Podolski's slight unrest and inconsistent form has alerted Juventus to his services, with Podolski telling German newspaper Bild that he is open-minded about a possible transfer, via Express. The Italian champions are publicly hunting new strikers and could invite Podolski to Turin.

Metro, meanwhile, suggest Galatasaray want to add Podolski to their list of star names that includes Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder.
